Alleghe (979 m) is one of the most famous holiday resorts of the Dolomites, on the left bank of Alleghe lake. Alleghe offers tourists a particular and peaceful environment for a summer holiday. During summer it is starting point for high altitude excursions and an ideal base for climbers from which to face the vertical thousand meters of the Civetta.
The Civetta ski-area connects Alleghe to the Val Fiorentina and Val di Zoldo and offers 80 km of ski runs which are considered among the best in Europe. It is ideal starting point for the ski tour of World War I and for the ski tour Sella Ronda. In the season 2013/14 there will be a new Snowpark, the "Alleghe Central Park", dedicated to the free-stylers. The scenery is incomparable thanks to the mountains which surround this area: Pelmo, Marmolada and Civetta charm the visitor by their beauty and their grandeur.
