In the heart of the Dolomites, Hotel Alla Posta is a meeting point for the whole area. Managed by the Pra family for over 140 years, today it is able to cater for every type of guest. The rooms are rustically decorated, wood furnished, and cosy. Surrounded by its spacious and elegant living rooms, a coffee bar with a distinguished patisserie, and two restaurants.
Il Postin, Hotel Posta’s à la carte restaurant, has a private atmosphere and is a cradle of the local gastronomic tradition. Our Chef, Roberto Dellea, has been working with us for 35 years and favours a graceful kitchen which praises the delicious local flavours and ingredients. Listed from many years on the Michelin Guide, several of our dishes have won awards in natinal gastronomic challenges.
After a long day filled with physical outdoor activities, Hotel alla Posta offers its guests the possibility of relaxing in our Wellness Area, where one may enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, and tanning machine. Our small, nevertheless well equiped fitness room, is able to satisfy the needs of our guests who wish to stay fit durino their vacation.
Summer: Hotel alla Posta is located in the centre of the Dolomites. Its privileged position contributes to the accessibility to the most beautiful trails around these splendid mountains. Several trekking trails and walkabouts, suitable for everybody, are within reach from the hotel’s property without the need of a car or of public transportation.
Winter: Hotel alla Posta, located in the centre of Caprile and only 4 km from the skilift of Civetta, offers its guests an efficient shuttle service. Three hotel shuttles pick up and drop off guests in Alleghe daily from the opening to the closing time of the skilift. This offers our guests a comfortable and quick service. For connection to Marmolada (15 minutes away) and Falcade (20 minutes away), our area offers the skibus service (with a stop just 10 mt from Hotel alla Posta).
